'EmployHer' is now a short film!
In December I was asked to be a part of this dynamic group and I'm so grateful. Laina wrote and directed us in a one-act show called, Employ(h)er, for the charity showcase, Artists 4 All. Then we were asked to perform again for Act For a Change. The show got such good reviews that we decided to gather our resources and skills to film Employ(h)er for the public to see and share. Can't wait for everyone to see the final product!

You have the opportunity to literally impact the lives of people if you work on material that has integrity.

I’m Viviana Chavez
(aka Vivi) and helping others
is my passion.
At the very last minute, I was cast in our high school one-act plays. That's how I was thrown into the acting world. In college, I studied theatre and film acting, video production, editing, and photography. No matter where life took me, I knew I wanted to work in the film industry. Amazingly, since 2010 I have been able to call myself a working actor in Atlanta. It's such a blessing to be able to do what you love and in the city you love! Although, it took me years to discover this about myself...
Acting has been my love for over 15 years, but helping others in the film industry is my passion.
As I see Atlanta's film industry growing, I'm overwhelmed by a drive to help those in the indie film industry to thrive in what they want to do. Working as an actor or filmmaker means you are running your own business. That requires patience, kindness, understanding, and willingness to research and apply change. These are strengths that I own and want to give over to other film artists in Atlanta via conversations, education, acting in projects, whatever I can.
I want this website to be more than just my digital resume, I want it to be a resource for others.
I believe in collaboration, not competition. I believe that media can change a person's world for the better. I believe Atlanta can not only be the #1 filming location in the world, but can house a prominent, self-sustaining film industry.
I believe in you.
